I can&#039;t stand the Roladin ones, and especially the buzz around them. (The ones in your photo with the lolly pop or whatever stuck in them look ridiculous!)

I recommend the ones in &quot;Idit&quot; opposite the post office in Ibn Gvirol. The whole place looks like time stopped there in the 80&#039;s, and so did their beautiful Sufganiot, with regular strawberry jam.]]></description>

The ones in the picture with all that icing remind me of many American donuts, and the old fashioned Israeli sufganiyot appeal to me much more.
Your recipe with plenty of vanilla sounds good. Nice tip about using the wok.]]></description>
