Hi Tobie, yeah, the train gets right there. The old city is maybe a 5-minute cab ride from the train station (or you could walk if the weather isn’t too hot). We don’t have a car, either.

Acco is a great place to visit although anywhere outside in summer is a touch on the hot side. I live just down the road and still don’t get there that often, the hummus in Said is legendary so pity you missed it. Glad you had a good day.

i only went once about 20 years ago, but i’m coming to israel for sukkot for 4 weeks, i must go and visit the place.
