We did have a good time, and the beers were wonderful. Love your photos, Liz. Most of mine came out blurry. Maybe because I was somewhat blurry myself, what with sampling this beer and that one all evening long...

Dancing Camel's rosemary-flavored was a delicious surprise, and Bazelet's Amber Ale was so good I brought some home. Cheers!

Hey A-Man, yes, people do drink beer (and wine) here, but popular is relative -- Israelis aren't big alcohol drinkers compared to other western countries. For instance, I've met Germans who say that when they go out, they have 5 or 6 beers. That would be pretty unusual here.

I had a great time with everyone. It was very exciting to see some of the Israeli microbreweries that were started by Sabras (non-expats). I think we have a great future as a small, thinking-out-of-the-box, beer brewing culture.
