Hey Yael, unfortunately I don’t recall the exact address, but the store is a very small homeware shop on the western side of Jerusalem Boulevard, no more than six blocks south of Salameh Street.

It’s directly south of a colorful dollar shop, which also had vegetable corers. I’d guess you could find them in other stores, too, though; I just haven’t looked too much.

Liz! Your photography is always so amazing. Such a pleasure to visit here. I love stuffed veg, as well, and I didn’t know the Ottoman history about them. Thanks for the link. I made stuffed peppers last night, very strange peppers, and I made the recipe up. Ended up sounding more than vaguely similar to your eggplants. Thanks for a lovely post!

I also used my new vegetable corer- for zucchini this time stuffed in the Iraqi style. your eggplants look adorable and must taste heavenly
