I actually have their recipe for that: 1/2 c cashews, 3 T lemon juice, 1/4 c water, 1/2 c canola oil, salt, all blended together. Given that it's basically cashew tahina, it's no big surprise that it tastes good .... anyway, I think vegan/vegetarian food is best when it's not trying to replace meat, and is just trying to be good in its own right.

Can't say I remember... I probably did, seeing as I tend to try things most (edible) things that I come across. :) Anyway, I wasn't saying anything about its taste - As vegan/vegetarian food goes, yours is pretty good. :)

(Though I have to say I think the winner of the all-time best vegan replacement for real food is BuddhaBurger's vegan mayo. Its texture and flavor are perfect! Doesn't taste exactly like mayo but the texture is very pleasant)

I have to say - This dish suffers from an issue very common to vegan/vegetarian food: It looks like a brown lump, or a lot of such lumps put together.

Usually I wouldn't say anything, but your food is always so visually appealing (And even more so in your pictures!) that it stands out...
